Language points
1. — What’s the score? — Spain scored a minute ago.
—比分是多少？ — 西班牙（隊）一分鐘前得分了。
score 在第一個句子中是名詞，意思是“比分，進球數”；第二個句子中的score 是動詞，表示“得分；進球”。
例：The final score was 3:2. 最終比分為三比二。
Arsenal scored in the final minute of the game.
阿森納隊在比賽的最后一分鐘進了一球。
2. Last week the match on TV was so boring because no one scored at all.
上周電視上的比賽真無聊，因為根本就沒有人得分。
boring 指事情本身很無趣，常用來形容物；而bored
指“感到厭煩的”，用來形容人。
例：This history class is really boring and I feel very bored with it.
這節歷史課真無聊，我對它感到很厭煩。
3. So this week’s match is already more exciting.
所以這周的比賽已經令人興奮多了。
already 副詞，意為“已經；早已”。通常置于實義動詞前，系動詞或助動詞后，有時為了表示驚奇，還可放在句末。
例：I have already seen that film three times.
那場電影我已經看過三遍了。
