[拓展] (1)a little＝a bit＝a little bit, 意為“有點兒”，后接形容詞或副詞。
It's a little hot today. 今天有點兒熱。
(2)a little＝a bit of, 表示肯定含義，意為“一點兒”，后接不可數名詞。
There is a little rain today. 今天有小雨。
[注意] little還可以表示“小的”，含有感情色彩。例如：a little girl 一個小女孩。
句型透視

[探究](1)詢問某人長相的句型：What do/does＋主語＋look like？其答語如下：
①sb.＋be (am/is/are)＋形容詞(tall/short/heavy/fat/thin…)．
②sb.＋have/has＋形容詞＋名詞(hair/eyes…)．
③sb.＋be of medium height/build＝sb.＋have/has a medium height/build.
—What do they look like? 他們長什么樣？
—They are of medium height, and they have curly hair.
他們中等身高，留著卷發。
(2)look like 意為“看起來像”，其中like是介詞，意為“像”，后接名詞。
The cloud in the sky looks like a sheep.
空中的那朵云看起來像一只綿羊。
2 …she has long straight hair. ……她留著長直發。
[探究] hair常作不可數名詞，在描述頭發特征時，形容詞的順序為“長短＋曲直＋顏色”。
She has short curly blonde hair. 她留著金黃色的短卷發。
