知識點1
eye/aI/ n. 眼睛 為可數名詞。其復數形式為eyes。
eg: You're the apple of my eye.你是我的掌上明珠。
“一只眼睛”為 an eye。

smell/smel/ v. 嗅；聞起來
eg：Please smell the soup！請聞聞這湯！
smell 也可作連系動詞，意為“聞起來”，后面常接形容詞作表語。
eg：Dinner smells good. 晚飯聞起來好香。

talk with意為“用……說話”。
辨析talk，say，speak和tell
speak
不強調說話的內容，但有時講某種語言、（在會上）發言要用speak。
I can't speak Japanese.我不會講日語。
say
意為“說；講”，強調的是說話的內容。
She didn't say anything.她什么也沒說。
talk
意為“談話；交談”，可用作不及物動詞和名詞，常用詞組：talk to/with sb.和某人談話， talk about sth./sb.談論某事/人。
I want to talk to my English teacher.我想和我的英語老師談一談。
Let's talk about this photo.我們來談論一下這張照片吧。
tell
意為“說，告訴”，側重于“告訴”，作及物動詞，后常跟雙賓語。tell sb.sth.告訴某人某事。tell sb.to do sth.告訴某人去做某事。

Tell him to come here on time.告訴他按時到這兒來。
