1. Many students ask for advice about how to improve their English.
ask sb. for sth.(advise/help/money…) 意為“請求某人給予……；向某人尋求……”。
e.g. The young man always asks his parents for money every weekend.
2. I suggest you write four or five words a day…
(1) suggest 作為動詞，意為“建議”。常用于以下表達中：
suggest doing sth.意為“建議做某事”。
e.g. My father suggested taking a walk after dinner.
(2) suggest (that) sb. (should) do sth. 意為“建議某人做某事”，that 從句部分應該用虛擬語氣，即謂語動詞用“should +動詞原形”，should 可以省略。
e.g. I suggest (that) they (should) visit the Great wall when they are in Beijing.
(3) suggest 的名詞形式為 suggestion，意為“建議、提議”，是可數名詞。
e.g. Your suggestion is really helpful.
