三者都有“打��；戰勝”的意思，但用法不一樣：
①beat意為“打��；勝過”，后常接表示比賽和競爭的對手或團體，常與defeat互換使用。其過去式和過去分詞分別為beat，beaten。
eg：We beat the boy's team in the basketball match.在籃球比賽中，我們打敗了男子隊。
②win意為“獲勝；贏得”，其賓語常為game，match，prize等表示比賽、名次、獎品等的詞，其賓語不能用表示人的詞。其過去式和過去分詞都為won。
eg：We won the football match last time，but we lost it this time.我們上次贏了足球賽，但這次我們輸了。
③defeat意為“擊��；戰勝”，尤指在戰場上打敗敵人，其賓語常為人或某個團體、組織。其過去式和過去分詞都為defeated。
