[觀察1] This is Miss Zhou. 這是周老師。
[探究]
當把一個人介紹給另一個人時，常用“This is…”句型，不用“He is…”或“She is…”。this常指代距離較近的人或物，與其相對的詞是that。它們可單獨使用，也可用來修飾名詞。介紹距離較遠的人或物時用“That is…”。this is不能縮寫為this's，that is可縮寫為that's。

“It's time to do sth.”意為“該做某事了，到做某事的時間了”，可與句型“It's time for sth.”相互轉換。
