Language points
1.When is your birthday,Linda？你的生日是什么時候，琳達？
when是疑問副詞，意為“什么時候”，引導特殊疑問句，其結構為：“When+一般疑問句？”，回答時可用介詞in,on,at等引導的表示時間的介詞短語。
—When is Jay Chou's birthday?
—His birthday is on January 18th.
2.My birthday is on May 2nd.我的生日是五月二日。
On May 2nd中的介詞on可以省略，May 2nd意為“五月二日”，在表示日期時，要注意以下幾點：在美式英語中，記載方法是按月、日、年的順序，“日”與“年”中間要用逗號隔開，書寫時“日”可以寫成序數詞形式，也可直接寫成阿拉伯數字形式，但讀時一定讀作序數詞。
April 10th,1997=4/10/1997 即1997年4月10日。
在英式英語中，記載方法是按日、月、年的順序，其他同上面所講相同。
10th April,1997=10/4/1997 即1997年4月10日。
