Language points
What’s your first name?你叫什么名字？（教材第5頁）
（1）first是序數詞，意為“第一”。序數詞是表示順序的，其前常用定冠詞the或形容詞性物主代詞修飾。對應的基數詞是one。
如：her first name她的名字 the first cup第一個杯子
（2）英美人的姓名和中國人的姓名不同。英美人通常是名字在前，姓氏在后，這與中國人的姓名順序相反。
如：Jim Green，名是Jim,Green是姓。由于Jim這個名字放在第一位，所以英語中“名”叫first name,也可以說given name。
注意：中國人的姓名譯為英語時直接用漢語拼音表示，姓和名要分開，且首字母要大寫。英美人姓名首字母也要大寫。
如：Li Xin李鑫 Yang Xiaodan楊曉丹 Gina Green吉娜·格林
