There be 句型的過去式
There be 句型的過去式是There was…或There were…，其中There was 后可接單數名詞或不可數名詞，There were 后接復數名詞。例如：
There was a book on the desk. 書桌上有一本書。
There were some books on the desk. 書桌上有一些書。
