現在進行時的被動語態是中學英語語法中的一種非常重要的英語時態，它屬于現在時態。
一、含義與結構

African elephants are being hunted.非洲大象正在被獵殺。
What is being done to help them? 現在可以做些什么來幫助它們呢？
What measures are being taken to help them?
現在可以采取哪些措施來幫助它們呢？

(1)現在進行時的被動語態表示說話人說話時或現階段某事____________。
(2)現在進行時的被動語態的構成：
①be＋being＋done (____________)；②“be being done”中的動詞____________應隨主語作相應的變化。
[名師提醒] 現在進行時的被動語態中不能漏掉“____________”。
二、形式

The tiger is not being set free at present.目前這只老虎沒有被放出。

What is being done for the milu deer? 現在為麋鹿正在做些什么呢？

現在進行時的被動語態的主要形式有：肯定式；否定式；疑問式。它們的具體構成如下：
(1)肯定式：主語＋____________＋____________
(2)否定式：主語＋____________＋____________＋____________
(3)疑問式：________疑問式[“Am/Is/Are＋(not)＋主語＋being done”]；________疑問式[“特殊疑問詞＋am/is/are＋(not)＋being done”]。

1.基本用法

Look! The children are being taken care of by their aunt.
看！孩子們正由他們的姑媽照顧。

表示________正在進行或發生的被動動作，常與now, right now, at present, at the moment等時間狀語詞連用。

A new factory is being built.一座新的工廠正在建設中。
They are being taught English at present.目前他們正在被教學英語。

表示________或________________正在進行的被動動作，但這一被動動作在此時此刻不一定正在發生。
2.特殊用法

John is not here.He must be being interviewed.
約翰不在這里，他一定正在接受采訪。
