1.as 引導定語從句,意為“正如,正像”

(教材P52)As one virtual choir member said, “Music helps me to...forget my problems.With music, I become someone else.”

as引導定語從句的常用句式有:

as is known to all  眾所周知

as we all know 我們都知道

as we can see 正如我們所看到的

as is reported 正如報道的

as is often the case 這是常有的事

as is mentioned above    如上所述

①As is known to all, shoes play an important role in our life, for they can protect our feet from being hurt.

2.過去分詞(短語)作狀語

(教材P52) Moved by this music, he said,“It was like seeing color for the first time.”

(1)過去分詞(短語)作狀語時,可以表示時間、原因、結果、條件、讓步、方式、伴隨等,表示被動或完成;

(2)過去分詞的邏輯主語一般與句子主語一致;

(3)過去分詞表示的動作與句子的主語之間為被動關系。

When it is seen from the top of the high building, the park looks even more beautiful.(時間狀語從句)

→Seen from the top of the high building, the park looks even more beautiful.(過去分詞作狀語)

→Seeing from the top of the high building, I find the park even more beautiful.(現在分詞作狀語)

從高樓的頂上看,公園看上去更漂亮。
