句式二 the way（+that/in which）+ 定語從句

【句法分析】本句是主從復合句。we are connected 是定語從句，修飾 the way，從句省略了關系詞 that 或 in which。
【要點必記】
在含有定語從句的復合句中，the way 作先行詞時有以下三種情況：
（1）關系詞在定語從句中作狀語，關系詞 用in which，that 或省略；
（2）關系詞在從句中作主語，關系詞用 that 或which；
（3）關系詞在從句中作賓語，關系詞用that，which 或省略。

way 表示“方式；方法”時，其后還可以接動詞不定式或of doing sth. 作定語。
