reduce v．減少。其反義詞為increase(增加)。常用短語：reduce to減少到……；reduce by減少了……
例：The number of the students has reduced to 200 this year.
今年的學生數量已減少到了兩百人。
2.How much garbage do you throw away after lunch？
throw away丟掉，扔掉。它相當于throw out/throw off。該短語是動副型短語，當賓語是代詞時，要放在throw與away之間；當賓語是名詞時，置于throw與away之間或away之后均可。
例：Don't throw away the old bottles. They are still useful.
不要扔掉這些舊瓶子。它們還有用。
3.Environment clubs encourage students to bring their lunches in reusable bags and dishes.
encourage sb.to do sth.鼓勵某人做某事。其中，動詞不定式作賓語補足語。
例：My teacher always encourages me to work hard.

least是little的最高級形式，意為“最少”，修飾不可數名詞。最高級前面通常要用定冠詞the。
