1 search n. &v. 搜索；查找
[觀察] Do you often search for information on the Internet?
你經常在網上搜集信息嗎？
The police searched for clues in the area.警察在這個地區查找線索。
[探究] search后接地點時，表示對某處進行搜查；其后接人時，指“搜身”。常用結構：search＋地點＋for sb./sth., 意為“在某地搜索某人/某物”；search for表示“______________”，指竭力想找到某人或某物。
2 depend v. 依靠；取決于
[觀察] The date depends on the moon…
日期取決于月亮……
Whether we can finish the task on time or not depends on the weather.
是否能按時完成這項任務取決于天氣。
[探究] depend常與介詞________搭配，意為“依靠；依賴；取決于；隨……而定”。例如：
You can't depend on your parents forever.
你不能永遠依靠你的父母。
You can't depend on them to do it.你不能指望他們做這件事。
3 enter v. 輸入；進入
[觀察] I entered some key words into a search engine to find information on this topic. 我在搜索引擎里輸入了一些關鍵詞來尋找和這個話題有關的信息。

[探究] enter為及物動詞，意為“輸入；進入”。enter意為“________”時，相當于go into或come into，所以enter________(能/不能)與介詞into連用。
句型透視

[探究] “one of＋the＋形容詞的________ (比較級/最高級)＋可數名詞________(單數/復數)”結構，表示“最……的……之一”，形容詞后面的名詞一定要用復數形式。
