I'm scared of taking a plane. 我怕乘飛機。
[探究] be scared of…意為“害怕……”，后接名詞、________或________，相當于“be afraid of…”。
[拓展] be scared to do sth.意為“害怕做某事，不敢做某事”， 相當于“be afraid to do sth.”。例如：
She is scared/afraid to go out alone at night.
