experience /ɪk'spɪəriəns/ v. 經受；經歷
n. 經歷；體驗
experience作及物動詞，其后可跟名詞、動名詞、代詞作賓語。
I experienced many things on the trip.
我在旅途中經歷了許多事情。
考向二【易錯點】experience作“經驗”講時，是不可數名詞；作“(一次)經歷”講時，是可數名詞。
eg：He has gained much experience of teaching.
他已經獲得了許多教學經驗。

height /haɪt/ n. 高度；身高
eg：We don't know the height of that building.
我們不知道那座建筑物的高度。
height的形容詞為high，意為“高的”，可作表語和定語。
There is a high building over there. Do you know how high it is?

辨析high與tall
不同點：
(1)指人、動物或樹木的高度時，用tall而不用high；
(2)當指一個不與地面接觸的人或物離地面的高度時要用high，而不用tall；
