◆fall與autumn
兩詞都有“秋天”的意思。fall多用于美式英語，autumn多用于英式英語。
◆In the story，a beautiful lady named Chang'e lives on the moon.在這個故事中，一位名叫嫦娥的美麗女子住在月亮上。
named Chang'e是過去分詞短語作定語，修飾名詞lady，因為和修飾的名詞是動賓關系，所以用過去分詞作定語。
eg：The building burnt by fire was a hospital.被大火燒毀的建筑是一家醫院。
◆We will have a sevenday holiday！我們將有七天的假期。
sevenday為一個合成詞，注意其中的名詞不能用復數形式。
eg: The tenyearold boy can speak three languages.那個十歲的男孩子能說三種語言。
◆The best thing about autumn，however，is my birthday.然而，在秋天最好的事情，就是我的生日。
however表示轉折，意為“可是；仍然”等，可放在句首、句中或句末，通常用逗號與句子其他成分隔開。
eg：However，my father did not agree.但是我父親不同意。
