作名詞時，是不可數名詞。
eg：You should give more care to your work.

還可作動詞，意為“關心；照料”。
eg：She cares about her children very much.

【重點】take care of意為“照顧，照料”，與look after同義。
eg：My mother is ill. I have to take care of her.
＝My mother is ill. I have to look after her.
我媽媽病了。我得照顧她。

alone/ə'ləʊn/ adj.& adv.獨自(的)
獨自(的)，與by oneself同義。
eg：I'm afraid to be alone at home at night.
我害怕晚上一個人在家。
