1. ARG takes care of pets without a home.
動物權益組織照顧無家可歸的寵物。
【點撥】care名詞，意為“照料，保護，小心”， care作名詞用時常與動詞take連用, 構成短語take care意為“小心”；take care of意為“照顧, 保管”，相當于look after。
例如：He is old enough to take care of himself.
他足夠大能照顧自己了。
【歸納拓展】care的不同用法
(1)care作動詞, 意為“關心；照料”。例如：
I don’t care what will happen.
我不管會發生什么。
(2)care的形容詞形式為careful，意為“小心的，仔細的”，副詞形式為carefully，意為“仔細地，小心地”。例如：
She is a careful girl. 她是一個細心的女孩。
Jenny writes the exam carefully.
