temperature n. 溫度
[觀察] The temperature outside is cool and the sky is blue.
外面天氣很涼爽，天空很藍。
What's the temperature in the office？辦公室內的溫度是多少？
[探究] temperature意為“溫度”。其用法如下：
(1)詢問溫度的句型是“________ the temperature…？”意為“……的溫度是多少？”不可用how much提問。
(2)表示溫度的“高”和“低”可使用形容詞high和low。
[拓展] temperature還有“體溫”的意思。take one's temperature意為“量體溫”；have a temperature意為“發燒”。
句型透視
1She stands in front of the class with a very big black bag.
她拿著一個黑色的大包站在全班同學面前。
[探究] (1)in front of意為“___________”，強調在范圍________(之外/之內)的前面。
(2)class在句中表示“全班同學”，表示復數含義。
(3)“with a very big black bag”在句中作伴隨狀語，即主語發出一個動作時，又伴隨著別的動作同時發生。如：
Someone is waiting for you with a bunch of flowers.
有人正拿著一束花等你。

這是摘蘋果的好季節。
[探究]“It is a great season for…/doing…”意為“____________________”，該結構也可寫成“It is a great season to do sth.”所以，本句話也可說成“It is a great season for picking apples.”或“It is a great season to pick apples.”
[拓展] 和該句型結構相同的是：It's time for sth./doing sth.＝It's time to do sth.，意為“到做某事的時間了”。
