一般過去時表示過去發生的動作或存在的狀態, 通常與過去的時間狀語如: yesterday, last week/ month / year等連用。
例：How was your trip last weekend？ 你上周末的旅行怎么樣？

構成 動詞的過去式
用法
1. 表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態。
2. 表示過去經�；蚍磸桶l生的動作。
句式
陳述句：He was at home yesterday.
否定句：He wasn’t at home yesterday.
疑問句：Was he at home yesterday?
Yes, he was./No ,he wasn’t.
動詞變為一般過去式的常見變化
1. 動詞be的變化：
am /is → was are → were
例：① I am a little girl. 我是一個小女孩。
→ I was a little girl ten years ago. 十年前我是一個小女孩。（現在不是了）
② You are the best student. 你是最優秀的學生。→ You were the best student before. 你以前是最優秀的學生。（現在不是了）
2. 助動詞do的變化：
do/does→did (過去時中助動詞沒有人稱和數的變化)
例：① Do you play soccer everyday? 你每天都踢足球嗎？→ Did you play soccer yesterday? 你昨天踢足球了嗎？
② Does he often cook dinner for you? 他經常給你做飯嗎？→ Did he cook dinner last Friday? 他上周五給你做飯了嗎？

1. How was your weekend？
how 是疑問副詞，意為“怎樣”，它引導的特殊疑問句常用來對意見、打算、程度、方式、手段等進行提問。常用短語：how much 多少 (詢問價錢或者不可數名詞的數量)；how many 多少 (詢問可數名詞的數量)；how long 多長 (對時間、長度提問)；how far 多遠(對距離提問)。
例：How do you usually go to school？你通常是怎樣去上學的？
2. We are going to take a bus there.
take a bus 乘公共汽車，相當于“by＋交通工具名詞”。表示“乘坐某種交通工具”用“take＋冠詞＋交通工具名詞”，這個結構類似的用法還有：take a cab/taxi 坐出租車；take the subway 坐地鐵。
例：He took the subway to the train station.
= He went to the train station by subway.
他乘地鐵去了火車站。
Don't take the taxi at the airport. It's too expensive.
別在機場打車。太貴了。
3. We are going to sing songs and play games on the bus.
on the bus 在公共汽車上。“on＋冠詞/名詞所有格/形容詞性物主代詞＋交通工具”，表示“在某種交通工具上”，也可以用來表示“乘坐某種交通工具”，這樣的交通工具一般是指 plane、train 等大型交通工具或者 bike （自行車）。
【拓展】當表示乘坐 taxi、car 等小型交通工具的時候，一般用“in＋冠詞/名詞所有格/形容詞性物主代詞＋交通工具”結構。例：He went to work in her car. 他坐她的車去上班。
4. My uncle is going to bring his camera and I am going to bring some donuts for everybody.
bring v. 帶來。例：Bring your camera to school. 把你的相機帶到學校來。
【辨析】bring與take
① bring是指把人或物從別處帶到說話人所在地。例：You should bring your homework today. 你今天應該把作業拿來。
② take是指把人或物從說話人所在地帶到別處。如：Please take the book to the library.請把這本書帶到圖書館去。
