知識點1
“How is...going？”意為“……怎么樣？”
考向一
常用于問候對方或跟對方打招呼。go為不及物動詞，意為“進展，進行”。類似的問候語還有：Hi./Hello.你好。在寫信件、明信片、電子郵件的開頭時，要注意把問候語運用到其中。
eg：How is your work going？你工作怎么樣？
考向二
此類問句的答語為：
Great.很好。/Pretty good.相當好。/Not bad.
還不錯。/Just soso.一般般。/Terrible.糟糕。
知識點2
life/laɪf/n.生活，其復數形式為lives。
eg：I like the country life better.
我更喜歡鄉村生活。
考向 以f, fe結尾的名詞,在變為復數形式時，要將f或fe變為v，再加es,一般讀作/vz/。類似的詞還有：leaf, half, self, wife, knife, wolf, thief, shelf。
拓展 有關life的常用短語：lose one's life 喪生；save one's life 挽救某人的生命；in one's life 在某人的生命中；all one's life 某人的一生，終生；live/lead a(n)＋adj.＋life 過……的生活；the way of life 生活方式；come back to life 蘇醒過來。
