I just got back from a great trip to the Silk Road. My friends from Canada went with me. On our trip, I realized many things about China. Our country has a very long history and a rich culture.
I saw and experienced a lot on the trip. We went to see the Terra Cotta Warriors and the ancient city of Xi’an. The history of China is so alive in these places. I learned so much!
This trip opened my eyes. I saw my own history and culture in a new way. I hope to travel more around my country someday.

(1) have a good time 玩得開心，過得愉快。相當于enjoy oneself/have fun。
例：Look！The children are having a good time over there. 看！孩子們正在那邊玩得很開心。
(2) on one's trip to在某人去……的旅途中。其中 to是介詞，其后面要跟地點名詞。
例：My brother is on his trip to Xiamen. 我哥哥正在去廈門的旅途中。

【辨析】alive、lively、living 與 live
(1) alive 意為“活著的”，側重說明生與死的區別。
既可指人，也可指物；可作表語、后置定語或賓補。
(2) lively 意為“活潑的，活躍的，充滿生氣的”，
既可指人，又可指物�？勺鞫ㄕZ、表語或賓補。
(3) living 意為“活著的”，強調 “尚在人間，健在”，可用來指人或物，作定語或表語。
注意：the living 指“活著的人們”。常用短語：make a living 謀生
(4) live 意為“活著的”，通常指物，不指人，常放在名詞的前面作定語。它還可意為“實況轉播的”。
例：She does not know if he is alive or dead.
