We use although/though to contrast two clauses. Although is more formal than though.

although和though引導的 讓步狀語從句
although和though都是從屬連詞，引導讓步狀語從句，意為：雖然、盡管。
讓步狀語從句表示即便出現從句屮的情況，主句動作仍然會發生，有“退ー步說……”的意思。
I will try it, although I may fail.
即使我可能失敗,我也要試ー下。
Though he did not have much money, he was still happy.
雖然他不富有，但他很快樂。
Although/though it was only eight o’clock, there were few people in the streets.

1. so…that引導結果狀語從句
so …that句型中的so是副詞，常用來
修飾形容詞或副詞，常用句型為：
主語 + 謂語動詞 +so +adv./adj.+that從句
如：The boy ran so fast that I couldn’t catch him. 那個男孩跑的如此快以至于我追不上他。
2. such …that…作“如此…以致于…”解，連接一個表示結果的狀語從句。
與so…that 意思相同，但用法不同。
如：so…that這一結構中，so后邊可加形容詞或副詞，而such后邊要用名詞（這個名詞前面可以帶形容詞，也可以不帶）。
1) such＋a(an)＋adj.＋單數可數名詞＋that…
He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him.
2) such＋adj.＋不可數名詞+ that…
He has made such great progress that the teachers are pleased with him
3）such＋adj.＋復數名詞+that…
They are such interesting novels that I want to read them once again.
