1. 概念
并列句是指由并列連詞and，but，or等把兩個以上的簡單句連在一起而構成的句子。
2. 并列復合句的構成
基本結構：簡單句 + 并列連詞 + 簡單句。例如：
I help him and he helps me. 我幫助他，他幫助我。
3. 并列連詞前后兩簡單句之間的關系
（1）并列關系。例如：
They are watching TV and the others are listening to the radio.
他們在看電視，其他人在聽廣播。
（2）選擇關系。例如：
The children can go with us, or they can stay at home.
孩子們可以跟我們走，也可以待在家里。
（3）轉折關系。例如：
He was tired, but he didn't stop working.
他感到疲憊，但是沒有停止工作。
