Language points

allow 的幾種常見結構：
(1)allow doing sth. 允許做某事
(2)allow sb. to do sth. 允許某人做某事

Eg.
(1) They allowed smoking in this room only.

need 的用法:
1) 作實義動詞，意為“需要”。當主語是人時，用 need
to do; 當主語是物時，用need doing/to be done。

2) need 作情態動詞時，用于疑問句或否定句中。
