Language points
1. when是疑問副詞，意為“什么時候；何時”，常見結構為 “When + be/助動詞 +主語(+其他)?” 用來詢問時間，既可詢問某個時段或時刻，也可詢問具體的日期。如：
— When is the football match? 足球比賽在什么時候？
— It’s on September 15th. 在九月15號。
2. October 2nd（10月2日）是日期的表達法。表達具體日期通常為“月份 + 序數詞”，月份為專有名詞，首字母必須大寫、書寫時日期可以是序數詞，也可以是基數詞。如：
6月8日 June 8th 或 June 8
8月3日 August 3rd 或 August 3
[拓展] 英語中表示具體年、月、日的方式通常有兩種：“月 + 日 + 年”或“日 + 月 + 年”。年份要用逗號隔開。如：
2013年9月9日可表達為：September 9th, 2013 9th September, 2013
3. It’s on January 5th. 在1月5日。
1) 月份后有具體的日期時，前面的介詞用on；若只有年、月就用介詞in。如：
on May 22nd 在5月22日 in October 在10月
in 2012 在2012年
2) 該句中的it用來代指時間。如：
It’s August 1st today. 今天是8月1日。
It’s six o’clock now. 現在是6點鐘。
