最高級規則變化口訣
最高級有規律，詞尾加上 -est。
結尾若有 e，直接加上 -st。
輔音字母加 y，y 變 i，再加 -est。
一輔重讀閉音節, 末尾字母要雙寫。
形、副單詞多音節，最高級前 most 貼。
最高級的用法
1.“主語＋be＋the＋形容詞最高級＋in/of 短語”意為“……是……中最……的”。
托尼是三個男孩中最小的，但是他是最高的。
Tony is the youngest of the three boys, but he is the tallest.
2.“主語＋實義動詞(＋the)＋副詞最高級＋in/of短語”意為“……是……中最……的”。
簡總是我們班到校最早的。
Jane always arrives at school earliest in our class.
3. “主語＋be＋one of the＋形容詞最高級 ＋可數名詞復數＋in/of 短語”意為
“……是……中最……的……之一”。
他是他學校里最聰明的學生之一。
He is one of the smartest students in his school.
