Lisa walks to the library. She goes down North

Language Points
1. neighborhood 意為“附近；附近地區；街坊”
e.g. 我的街坊們都很友好。
My neighborhoods are friendly.
in the neighborhood 在附近
e.g. 在附近有一家中國餐館。
There is a Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood.
2. To get to the park, you just have to cross Center Street.
to get to the park 是目的狀語前置，此句子中的just起增強語氣的作用，和此處的have to表示 “只要，僅需”。
3. It is very quiet and I enjoy reading there.
enjoy 表示“從中得到樂趣；欣賞；喜歡”，后接動詞時候，動詞用-ing形式，即enjoy
doing…,表示喜歡做某事，享受做某事帶來的樂趣。
e.g. I enjoy listening to soft music.我喜歡聽輕柔的音樂。
拓展：enjoy oneself 表示 “玩的高興，愉快”
e.g. Our classmates enjoy ourselves.
4. Take a walk through the park.
在公園里散散步。
walk在短語中的詞性是名詞，
take a walk 意為“散步”。through是介詞，
意思是“穿過，從……中通過”。
鏈接: (1) walk在英語中有兩種詞性，例如：
作名詞，take a walk / go for a walk 散步 ；
還可以作動詞，walk to school 走路上學。
(2) across/through/over
這三個詞都有“穿過，通過”的意思，但
across它著重從某物的表面“橫過，穿過，
從一邊到另一邊”；而through 強調從空間
內的一頭縱穿到另一頭，意思是“穿過，
從……中通過”, over多指從物體上空通過。
5. spend 花費（時間、金錢等）。
1) spend + (時間、金錢) + on sth.
e.g. 杰克每天花很多時間做作業。
Jack spends a lot of time on his homework.
2) spend + (時間、金錢) + doing sth.
e.g. 我妹妹每天花很多時間讀書。
My sister spends much time reading books.
6. free “免費的”
e.g. 這些書都是免費的。
These books are free.

e.g. 格林先生本周不忙。
Mr. Green isn’t busy this week.

7. easily 容易地 (副詞)(easy + ly →easily)
e.g. 公共汽車站離這里很近，你能很容易地找到。
The bus stop is not far from here.
You can find it easily.
8. To get there, I usually walk out and turn right on Bridge Road.
這是英語行文的一種方式，在句子開頭用to do…短語，并用逗號將其與句子的主體部分隔開，相當于漢語“（若）要做……的話”。
e.g. To listen to world news, please key in “1”.
若要收聽國際新聞，請鍵入“1” 。
