【詳解】 這個句子用來詢問某人發生什么事。是”What happened to sb?”的縮寫形式。
E.g. — What happened?
— My watch stopped and I didn't know the time. So I am late for the meeting.
【拓展】
(1) 詢問發生什么事還可以用。”What's the matter with …?” “What's wrong with … ?”來表示。
E.g. — What's the matter?
— I fell off the bike and hurt my leg.
— What's wrong with your mother?
— She had a cold and she couldn't come to the parents' meeting.

【詳解】 這個句子用來詢問別人還好吧。
【拓展】 另外,值得注意的是“That's all right.” 與“That's right.” 的區別:

而“That's right.” 是同意對方的觀點或看法時的常用語,意思是“對;正確” 。
