1.原因狀語從句
表示主句行為的原因的從句是原因狀語從句。
原因狀語從句的連詞引導，常用的是because。
eg. We went by bus because it was cheaper.
我們乘公交汽車去，因為這樣便宜一些。
I do it because I like it.
我做這件事是因為我喜歡。
注意:
1) because 習慣上不能與 so 連用;
2) because引導的原因狀語從句有時可以與帶有because of 短語的句子互換。
eg. I can’t get to sleep because there is noise outside.
= I can’t get to sleep because of the noise outside.
由于外面聲音嘈雜我睡不著。
2.目的狀語從句
表示主句行為的目的從句是目的狀語從句。
目的狀語從句的連詞引導，常用的是so that。
eg. I got up early so that I could catch the first bus.
我起得很早，目的是為了趕上頭班公共汽車。
She worked hard so that everything would be ready by 5 o'clock. 她努力工作，以便在五點前是一切都就緒。
3.結果狀語從句
結果狀語從句表示“由某個行為而導致的結果”。
結果狀語從句的連詞引導，常用的是so。
eg. He worked too hard, so he fell ill again.
他工作過于勞累, 結果又病倒了。
I like it so I do it .我喜歡它所以我做這件事。
