1. heart n. 心；心臟

2. condition n. 狀況；身體狀況
condition 表示“狀況，身體狀況” 時，是不可數名詞，
可用于短語 in good / excellent condition，
表示“健康狀況很好”。
eg: The old man is over 70 years old,
but he is in excellent condition.
這位老人雖然70多歲了，但是他的健康狀況很好。
3. sleepy adj. 困的，想睡的
sleepy可作表語或定語
Look at the sleepy girl. She is sleepy.
看這個打瞌睡的女孩，她困了。

① sleep n. 睡覺，睡眠 v. 睡，入睡 ；
② asleep adj. 睡著的，熟睡的；只能作表語，常用于短語“fall asleep (入睡）”中；
③sleeping adj. 正在睡覺的，可作表語或定語。
4. daily adj. 每天的；天天的
daily表示“日常的；每日的” 時，只能作定語，
不能作表語。
eg: How is your daily life?
你的日常生活怎么樣？
【拓展】 daily 還可以用作名詞，意為“日報”。
eg: A new daily will appear in our town soon.
一份新的日報不久將在我市問世。
5. awful adj. 極討厭的；極壞的

知識講解
1. I have had him for three months now…
現在我已經擁有他有三個月了……
had 在句中是動詞的過去分詞，與助動詞have 構成現在完成時。
又因為had(have)是延續性動詞，故可以和表示一段時間的狀語連用。
Tony bought the car two years ago.
托尼兩年前買的這輛車。
= Tony has had the car for two years.
托尼擁有這輛車已經有兩年了。
【拓展】延續性動詞表示能夠延續的動作，可以與表示時間段的狀語連用。
2. Perhaps I am too weak to do any exercise.
或許我太虛弱而不能進行一些鍛煉。
too…to…意為“太……而不能……”，
too后面接形容詞或副詞，to后面接動詞原形。
可以與not…enough to…的結構互換。
Little Ashley is too young to look after herself.
小艾希莉太小而不能照顧自己。
= Little Ashley is not old enough to look after herself.
